What are they useful for?
In many cases, the primary goal is identification
only. For example, where a disc is used only as a data transfer
medium, or for temporary use, it is somewhat wasteful to label them with
paper labels. In these cases, a disc marker pen is
ideal. Quick, easy and effective.
Many people also do their labeling at once, and produce a number of
discs together, and then move on to the labeling process. During
that initial period, it is still important to know which disc is which.
A disc marker pen fills in the gap nicely. Finally, there
are cases where people maintain a "use" copy and a "master" copy. A
disc marker pen allows you to produce both labels at
once, yet still be able to identify each one uniquely by marking on top
of the print. Finally, they are really easy to carry
into any scenario where a printer is not available.
Why can't I use a normal felt pen?
Many pens are solvent based. As discs are made of
plastics, solvents can damage them. PressIt disc marker

How To Remove Pen Markers |
Remove marker pen marks
Permanent marker is easier to remove than
you would first think. So read on for a few ways to remove permanent
marker.
Permanent marker on hard surfaces.
You can either use simply a pencil eraser. This will remove the marker
pen marks. It will not leave an eraser mark. Another
method is toothpaste. Just rub the mark with toothpaste. Saves a lot of
scrubbing and chemical smells.
Permanent marker on fabric.
Hairspray will remove permanent marker from fabric. Simply spray
the mark with hairspray, when the mark starts to dissolve, rinse
through with water. Rubbing alcohol will work in a similar manner.
Using these two methods as a guide can get some great
results. I have had letters reporting success using a combination of both of
these tips. Depending on the type of fabric you might want to try toothpaste, or
even hairspray on a solid surface. As with all the tips on the TipKing website,
